How to identify your machinery

We hold machinery records and drawings for each Hanson & Edwards machine built and can offer genuine spare parts.

To identify components we need the machine reference number found on the machine rating plate:

The reference number takes the form 33 W312 66, which gives the contract number 33 W312 and the year of manufacture (19)66

We firmly believe that correct maintenance using genuine spare parts, occasional upgrades or refurbishment by Hanson & Edwards will extend the effective life of machinery. The benefits of refurbishment over new machines are:

• Less cost than new

• Much quicker delivery time

• Operators used to machinery

• Little or no foundation costs

The benefits of refurbishment over second hand machines are:

• Known service history

• Little or no foundation costs

• Much less risk

There are also many advantages in upgrades where current technology can enhance the productivity of old machines.
